Anna Markowitz

Anna J. Markowitz is an associate professor in the UCLA School of Education and Information Studies. She is a developmental psychologist and policy analyst whose work focuses on policies that affect children and families, and in particular early care and education settings. She co-directs the Study of Early Education through Partnerships and has served as co-PI on several early education partnerships grants funded by the federal Administration for Children and Families. She has also worked with several state and local education agencies to study and advise on issues related to the early childhood workforce.
